MEET THE DOCTORS

Ronnie L. Hold, D.D.S.
Ronnie enjoys working in family dentistry and has earned several awards in the areas of prosthodontics (crown, bridge, and dentures), radiology, and pediatrics. He has taken further training in esthetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Hold is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Georgia Dental Association. He graduated from the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Hold and his wife Ashley enjoy the outdoor recreational opportunities of the North Georgia Mountains, church involvement and spending time with their three boys.

Dr. Joseph V. Dufresne
Dr. Dufresne received his dental degree at the University of Texas Dental School and General Practice Residency at Fort Jackson, SC. He began as a General Dental Officer in the U.S. Army Dental Corps. He continued his military experience in the Reserves and Active Duty throughout his career in private practice, retiring at the rank of Colonel. In additions to his private practice, he has been a part time clinical instructor at Emory University School of Dentistry and a clinical instructor and guest lecturer at Clayton State College and University School of Dental Hygiene.
Just some of Dr. Dufresne's accomplishments and memberships are: Member of the American Dental Association, Honorable Fellow of the Georgia Dental Association, Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, Fellow of the International College of Dentists, President of the Northern District Dental Society (2004-2005), Past Chairman of the Continuing Education Committee, Peer Review Committee, and Chairman of the Ethics Committee.
Dr. Dufresne and his wife Gail have been married 35 years, have four children and 3 grandchildren. They currently make their home in Mineral Bluff. He enjoys fishing, photography, and travel.

Dana A. Brockington, D.M.D.
Dr. Brockington graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has practiced cosmetic and implant dentistry in Marietta, GA for over 20 years. Dr. Brockington and his wife Cindy are happy to be returning home to the North Georgia Mountains to be with their family.
Dr. Brockington provides comprehensive cosmetic and restorative dental services, including dental implants, porcelain veneers and crowns, whitening treatments, cosmetic bonding, wisdom teeth extractions, complete dentures and overdentures, root canal therapy, and treatment of periodontal disease. As part of his passionate commitment to the science of dentistry, Dr. Brockington maintains a rigorous schedule of continuing education. He has published numerous journal articles and is currently the co-director for the Mastertrack program in Georgia, a leading continuing education program covering all aspects of dentistry.
